Explaining his decision to get surgery, he told fellow Reddit users that it helped him kick start his weight loss and that he now aims to continue with his healthier lifestyle.
I wasn’t strong enough to do this without help. The surgery gave me the leg up I needed to build the confidence and motivation to lead a healthier lifestyle and I am going to keep fighting to maintain it.
